ALPACA QUALITY: HISTORY

Alpaca Quality was created by MARIO PACOMPIA CARI from Puno - Perú, when he begam, he moved to Lima, the capital city in Perú, where he learned furriery and craftsmanship in Alpaca fur during 10 years, enough time to acquire experience and efficiency in this art.

In 1980, a craftsmanship workshop was invented, it was called "Confecciones El Tigre" and for about 25 years, it was working with national enterprises which export craftworks in Alpaca fur.

In the early 2005, the enterprise became formal and now called "Las Mejores Novedades E.I.R.L.".

Nowadays , we are located in Arequipa - Perú, where our factory is located in which the production process and elaboration of our products are made based on Alpaca Fibre.

Arequipa is in the south of Perú, apart from being visited by lots of tourists from around the world, there are many enterprises and workshops which use fibre (textiles) and leather (furriery) in Alpaca, being Alpaca Quality famous for its development, quality and service to our clients.

Our staff is 25 year experienced people who have worked in craftsmanship and furriery in Alpaca.

Our "Fur Workers" are from Cusco and Puno, where these activities are made with the highest tradition, art and ability. We are specialized in craftsmanship and furriery elaboration in genuine Peruvian Alpaca.

Alpaca Quality also worrier about the technological advance and training (talks, workshops and continuous preparation in the process of production in Alpaca) and the continuous improvement of the quality in our work.
